The MB Series from VISION WIDE is a line of Bridge-type Double Column Milling Machines engineered with the manufacturer’s signature features of rigid structure and high precision for optimal performance. The machine’s construction is centered on a wide, solid base with robust columns and a fixed beam, ensuring the best structural stiffness and maintaining exceptional geometric accuracy across all three axes of travel.

Every component is meticulously full-casting, with square guideways coated with precision hand scraping. This attention to detail guarantees the best stiffness and minimizes friction for smooth, precise movement. The Z-axis is positioned symmetrically to the spindle motor, ensuring micro smooth movement and high accuracy. To achieve efficient, rigid, and accurate cutting, the machines utilize Japan-made JIS0 gears in the gear head, offering the advantages of high rigidity and low noise at speeds up to 4,000 rpm (with an optional 6,000 rpm available).

Operation is supported by a reliable, automated system featuring twin hydraulic cylinders plus a pressured nitrogen accumulator balancing design for smooth and accurate Z-axis feeding. Direct lubrication is provided to the gibs on all three axes of the box ways for 100% lubrication certainty. The series offers substantial working capacity with X-axis travel models ranging up to 4,100 mm and can handle maximum table loads up to 12,000 kg. A side-mounted tool magazine with a cam-type Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) provides tool-to-tool changing in 3 seconds, along with Random Setting and Large Tool Management capabilities for enhanced operational efficiency.
