The MHN Series of Bridge-type Double Column Milling Machines embodies the VISION WIDE tradition in making high rigidity machine structures, positioning it as a powerful choice for both high precision 5-face machining and demanding heavy cutting applications. This series is engineered to provide a full range of high-efficiency cutting performance through its foundational design elements.

A key feature is the over 1•1 m height of the rigidity stepped beam structure, which significantly enhances the guideway span and provides the necessary Y-axis straightness and rigidity for heavy cuts. The Y-axis further benefits from a 65 mm ultra-load guideway, which increases rigidity by more than 40 percent under higher cutting loads and extends the machine’s overall lifespan. The bed structure features a full stroke supported design, with a thick and extra-wide configuration that substantially increases the maximum table load capacity (up to 36-000 kg) and improves the dynamic level of workpiece movement, thereby reaching optimal cutting stability and enhancing anti-vibration performance.

For positioning accuracy, models with X-axis travel over 4 m and Y-axis travel over 3 m include a precision supporter mechanism to prevent ball screw sag and ensure ball screw longevity. The machine’s geometry is optimized by minimizing the distance between the spindle center and the Z-axis roller way, which shortens the cutting lever arm and significantly improves overall cutting rigidity. Standard features include a 22/26 kW spindle motor (up to 30/37 kW optional), 2-step gear-driven spindle speeds of 4-000 rpm, and a maximum cutting feed rate of 7-000 mm/min.
