The XM Series by VISION WIDE is classified as an Extremely Mighty Machining Center—a moving column CNC milling machine engineered for the challenging precision machining requirements of huge structural parts used in sectors such as electric power, wind power, petrochemical, and large transportation equipment. This series is defined by its ability to deliver both massive workpiece machining space and high-standard geometric accuracy.

A key feature is the expansive travel capacity, with the X-axis (longitudinal column movement) starting at 8-200 mm and extendable up to 60-200 mm, and Y-axis travel options up to 4-200 mm. The machine’s robust construction ensures heavy cutting capacity through a selection of high-rated torque spindles, available in a 4-000 rpm two-step gear type (standard) or optional built-in motor spindles up to 12-000 rpm.

To achieve fully automatic multi-face machining, the XM Series can be equipped with various automatic attachment heads that support high tangential speed mold surface machining and complex angle machining of precision parts. These heads feature an excellent tool tip point error automatic correction function, combined with automatic head and tool exchange, maximizing productivity. For enhanced versatility, the machine can also be optioned with a high-torque vertical turning table to realize milling and turning compound automatic machining in a single setup.
