It is the ideal machine for processing challenging materials such as carbide and fully heat-treated workpieces, where conventional drilling methods are inefficient. A key performance feature is the use of Sodick’s patented Vitol machining fluid, which enables significantly faster Electrical Discharge Machining compared to competing small hole machines that rely on water as a dielectric fluid.
