The ALN800G is a state-of-the-art Wire EDM machine from the SODICK ALN series, engineered for high-performance and high-precision electrical discharge machining. It is built with a rigid cast construction to provide a stable platform and features flat, rigid, linear motor drives on the X, Y, U, and V axes. These proprietary linear motors have no backlash and, when coupled with absolute linear scales, ensure superior cutting precision and are backed by Sodick’s 10-Year Positioning Accuracy Guarantee.

This model excels at high-speed processing thanks to the integrated Smart Pulse Generator and the SPW (Smart Pulse Wire) Control, which combines a classic interface with a highly functional 19-inch LCD touch panel for user-optimized operation. Key features that enhance productivity include Intelligent Q³vic EDW– an automatic programming system that imports 3D CAD files- and Advanced Step Machining technology. For finishing, the machine is equipped with Digital Pika-W Plus– a super finishing circuit- and the TMP II Surface Finishing Circuit. The large work-zone accommodates workpieces with 31.50 inches (800 mm) of X-Travel and up to 6-614 lbs (3-000 kg). The 3-sided rise-fall worktank provides excellent ergonomic access and a no-drip feature for a cleaner environment, while the Fixed Jet High Speed AWT ensures reliable automatic wire threading.
