At the heart of the AQ1500L is Sodick’s proprietary Linear Motor Technology, which replaces traditional ball-screws with a direct-drive mechanism that is frictionless, vibration-free, and eliminates backlash, resulting in unmatched straight and taper cutting accuracy.

This advanced system is coupled with Glass Scale Feedback on all four axes (X, Y, U, and V) and is so dependable that it comes with a 10-Year Positioning Accuracy Guarantee. The machine is controlled by the powerful, yet user-friendly Heart NC Software (LN2WH), which automatically sets cutting conditions and features a Thermal Commit (TH COM) function to minimize thermal displacement.
