The VISION WIDE HFM Series 3-Axis CNC Machining Center is a line of advanced, Moving Beam Double Column Machines engineered for the precision machining of ultra-large and heavy workpieces. This series is defined by its cutting-edge structural design, which achieves super rigidity and high positioning accuracy, making it ideal for the most demanding applications in heavy cutting, 3D mold cutting, and precise contour finishing.

Key Structural Innovations for Extreme Performance

The HFM Series employs unique engineering to handle colossal sizes and loads:

  • Hydrostatic Head Transmission: The head adopts a hydrostatic transmission design, providing superior rigidity, significantly low friction, and exceptional stability, which is essential for large Z-axis travel machines (standard 1,500 mm, options up to 4,000 mm).
  • Box-in-Box Crossbeam: The crossbeam features a unique box-in-box structure and a symmetric design. This innovation effectively reduces structural deformation caused by Z-axis loads on one side and minimizes the influence of ambient temperature by locating the head’s gravity center on the centerline.
  • Torque and Spindle: Delivers powerful cutting with a high spindle torque output (ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 Nm) and standard 22/26 kW spindle power, ensuring high-performance material removal.

Capacity and Versatility

The machine is equipped to handle the largest components and complex operations:

  • 5-Face Machining: The HFM Series fulfills the requirements for automatic 5-face machining by integrating tool center point compensation, auto multi-angle head attachments (90º head/extension head/universal head), and an auto tool change system.
  • Dynamic Performance: Features efficient, rapid traverse rates of 15 m/min in all X/Y/Z axes (Linear Way models).
  • Control System: Comes standard with the advanced SIEMENS ONE controller.

Description

HFM series is Vision Wide designed for ultra-large workpiece machining, which fulfills automatic 5-face machining with super rigidity structure and high positioning accuracy, satisfies demands in heavy cutting ability, angle cutting, 3D mold cutting, and precise contour finishing.

We developed tool center point compensation, auto multi-angle head attachment, and an auto tool change system to complete auto 5-face machining.

  • Crossbeam design with a box-in-box structure can reduce deformation caused by the Z-axis loaded on the unilateral cross beam.
  • The gravity center of the head is located on the centerline of the symmetric structure; the design can reduce the influence of ambient temperature.
  • Head adopts a hydrostatic transmission design, which provides better rigidity, low friction, and stability for large Z-axis travel machines.
  • 1,500~2,000Nm Spindle Torque output.
