Changeovers are fast and efficient: a partial diameter change (within the same guide channel) takes about 2 minutes, while a complete changeover (guiding elements, pusher, etc.) can be done in roughly 8 minutes, with no special tools required. The unit is driven by a servo motor with chain drive, and synchronized for both fixed-headstock and sliding-headstock lathes, making it versatile for many shop environments.

For automation and ease of use, it is equipped with a touch-screen remote control featuring a library of up to 500 parts, simplifying setup and repeated production runs.  The feeder also supports a remnant bar length up to 400–500 mm (depending on bar preparation and headstock configuration), helping minimize material waste.
