The Honor VL-400C/CM model is a large-scale, ultra-heavy-duty machine in the Large Vertical Lathe Series, engineered to deliver exceptional stability and high-efficiency turning of massive, challenging components, primarily for the Windpower industry.

The machine’s design prioritizes structural integrity to ensure great performance on large-sized workpieces and hard materials. Its robust construction includes a wide span column, highly rigid Box way guides, and Honor’s patented Solid lock tool clamping mechanism to maximize tool stability and dampening during the heaviest cutting forces.

The VL-400CM variant introduces multi-tasking capabilities by integrating a live tooling system. This allows for turning, milling, and drilling operations to be completed in a single setup, with the live spindle reaching speeds up to 2,250 RPM. An optional dual spindle model is available to further improve machining efficiency.
