The VL-86 model is a high-performance entry in the Heavy Duty VL-46~100 Twin Series of CNC Vertical Turning Centers. It is fundamentally designed around a dual-spindle, dual-turret configuration, enabling unprecedented flexibility by allowing the machine to perform the same turning operation on both sides or separate operations in order. This capability is key to saving labor demand and maximizing production availability. The VL-86 is built for heavy-duty turning, handling a maximum workpiece weight of 850 kgs and accommodating a maximum swing diameter of 1-000 mm with a large 533 mm chuck diameter. Both spindles are robust, offering a speed range of 25 to 1-500 RPM. Machining precision and complexity are supported by the twin turret setup, each having 12 tool positions for a total of 24 tool stations across the machine. The available VL-86MT model further extends capability to Mill-Turn operations, making the VL-86 series a highly adaptable solution for efficient and powerful vertical turning and milling.
