The FA-3027 model is a superior 5-Axis Double Column Machining Center engineered to deliver top-tier performance for multi-axis applications, including high-precision contour finishing and mold cutting. Its foundation is a robust double-column-bridge type structure with a high-accuracy 2-axis head, which is optimized to enhance structural rigidity and provide a wider machining range.

This machine offers extensive working capacity with 3,100 mm in X-axis travel and 2,700 mm in Y-axis travel. The 3,000 mm by 1,800 mm table supports a substantial 10,000 kg maximum table load. The standard Z-axis travel is 1,000 mm, with an optional extension to 1,200 mm. The powerful HSK-A100 spindle provides rotational speeds up to 12,000 RPM and substantial peak torque of 205 Nm for stable, heavy cutting.

Critical to its performance is the guaranteed precision, boasting a positioning accuracy of plus-minus 0-008 mm over full travel and a repeatability of plus-minus 0-002 mm. To maintain this accuracy, the FA-3027 includes a comprehensive thermal compensation system that keeps thermal elongation less than 0-02 mm, along with automatic measurement compensation for rotation axis and tool accuracy. High efficiency is achieved with rapid traverse rates up to 24 m-min on the X-axis. The machine comes standard with a HEIDENHAIN TNC640 controller and a 24-tool magazine.
