The FA-5033 is a premier model in the FA series, designed as a bridge type 5-axis CNC double column machining center to excel in demanding ultra-heavy and large-scale machining applications. The machine is structurally optimized with a robust double column-bridge type construction for maximum stiffness and a wide machining envelope. It provides exceptional work capacity with 5-100 mm of X-axis travel and 3-300 mm of Y-axis travel. The spacious table measures 5-000 mm by 2-450 mm and can support a remarkable maximum load of 20-000 kg – making it suitable for even the largest components.

The high-performance spindle system features an HSK-A100 taper and operates at up to 12-000 RPM, delivering 43 kW of peak power and a significant maximum torque of 205 Nm. Precision is maintained through a high accuracy 2-axis head, standard XYZ axis linear scale feedback, and a sophisticated thermal compensation system that limits thermal elongation to less than 0-02mm regardless of spindle or environmental temperature changes. The machine is controlled by a HEIDENHAIN TNC640 system and includes critical operational features like Dynamic Collision Monitoring – DCM for enhanced safety.
