The FA Series is a highly capable line of 5-Axis Double Column Machining Centers developed by VISION WIDE. Launched in 2014, these machines were designed to deliver outstanding 5-axis simultaneous accuracy performance, making them an ideal choice for complex applications such as mold cutting, highly precise contour finishing, milling, drilling, and tapping. The machines feature a core structural design that is a double-column or bridge-type configuration, which optimizes rigidity and enables a wider, more stable machining range.

Key features contributing to the FA Series’ precision include an integrated high-accuracy 2-axis head and thermal stability measures that result in a low thermal elongation of less than 0.02mm, making performance not affected by spindle thermal variation and environmental temperature change. The dynamic rotation synchronization accuracy (TCPM) is an excellent 0.04mm. The FA series is designed to shorten tool displacement travel and cutting processes effectively, thereby extending tool life. Models within the series offer large working areas, with X-axis travel ranging from 2,100 mm up to 8,100 mm, and maximum table loads up to 24,000 kg. Depending on the model, spindle options include high-speed 24,000 rpm (HSK-A63) or high-torque 12,000 rpm (HSK-A100) configurations.
