The BM-8030/8037 model is a powerful Beam Moving Portal Type CNC Milling Machine Center designed to handle some of the largest workpieces, with a capacity for items up to 2-450 mm in height. This unique double-column machine features a movable cross rail, the W-axis, which travels up to 1-500 mm, enabling flexible machining over a vast work area. Key to its precision is the W-axis feed cutting synchronic with other axial feeding, a unique technique that guarantees dynamic straightness and substantial heavy cutting power. Structurally, the machine utilizes a double-beam configuration– a fixed beam for best parallelism and rigidity, and the movable beam for dynamic straightness. The movable cross rail is precisely positioned by a dual synchronized servo motor driving system and supported by dual hydraulic cylinders. The machine offers expansive travel, including 8-100 mm on the X-axis and 3-000 mm or 3-700 mm on the Y-axis. The work table size is 8-000 mm by 2-450 mm, supporting a maximum load of 24-000 kg. With the addition of multi-angle head attachments – AH attachment, the BM series achieves full automatic 5-face functionality. The standard machine includes a 4-000 RPM, 2-step gear spindle and a 40-tool floor-standing magazine, controlled by a FANUC 0iMF Plus Controller.
