The BM Series from VISION WIDE is a powerful line of Beam Moving Portal Type Machine Centers, designed as a double-column structure to handle extremely large and heavy workpieces with exceptional rigidity and high precision. A key feature is the movable cross rail (W-axis), which allows for a maximum workpiece height of 2-400 mm and travel up to 1-500 mm, enabling deep and complex machining operations.

VISION WIDE employs unique techniques to synchronize the W-axis feed cutting with other axial movements, ensuring optimal dynamic straightness and maintaining superior accuracy even during heavy cutting operations. The machine’s robust structure is built with a double beam configuration—including a fixed beam to maintain structural rigidity and a movable beam to ensure dynamic straightness and support cutting power. The movable cross rail is precisely controlled by a dual synchronized servo motor driving system and a rationing hydraulic system that controls the parallelism of cross rail travel.

Standard specifications include a large X-axis travel ranging from 4-100 mm up to 10-100 mm, Y-axis travel up to 4-200 mm, and floor-standing tool magazines with capacities of 40, 60, or 90 tools. The machine is equipped with a 22/26 kW spindle motor with 2-step gearing for powerful cutting, and the BM Series can be equipped with multi-angle head attachments for full 5-face machining capability.
