The MB-3016 is a Bridge-type Milling Machine in the MB Series, renowned for its classic construction designed for efficient, rigid, and accurate cutting. A core feature is the use of Box Ways on all three axes with a direct lubrication system and a precision hand scraping finish, which ensures optimal stiffness, low friction, and exceptional vibration dampening. The machine’s structural integrity is paramount, built upon a wide base with solid columns and a beam that collectively deliver the best structural stiffness and geometric accuracy throughout the entire 3-axis travel. The robust design includes a one-piece casting for the gear head transmission and headstock.

For motion and power, the machine provides an X-axis travel of 3-100 mm and a Y-axis travel of 1-600 mm on a table surface of 3-100 mm by 1-300 mm, capable of supporting a maximum load of 10-000 kg. The Z-axis is equipped with a patented, reliable balancing system using twin hydraulic cylinders plus a pressured nitrogen accumulator, ensuring smooth, micro-accurate movement and safely holding the position. The spindle uses a standard 4-000 RPM two-step gear motor with a power rating of 18-5 – 22 kW, with optional speeds up to 6-000 RPM.
