The MF-5000 is a robust Bridge-type Double Column Milling Machine engineered to deliver exceptional performance in the precision machining of medium-to-large parts and complex molds. Its structure is the key to its heavy cutting and precision cutting capabilities, featuring box ways with hand scraping for maximum rigidity and dampening. A highly distinctive 65-degree slant beam design incorporates three sliding ways to provide the strongest support to the headstock, giving it a significant advantage in heavy cutting compared to machines with similar column distances. For rapid and accurate motion, the Y and Z axes use a direct-driven transmission device with big servo motors, ensuring high acceleration and superior positional accuracy. The Z-axis is positioned symmetrically to the spindle motor for maximum precision and smooth micro-movement. The X-axis power transmission is enhanced with a gear reducer device that offers servo motor precision control while boosting the driving torque by 2-4 times. Thermal stability, crucial for precision, is maintained by separated oil coolers for the spindle and the 3-axis independent ball-screw cooling device, which actively controls heat deformation by keeping temperatures below ambient. The MF-5000 offers generous working space with an X-axis travel of 5-200 mm, a Y-axis travel of 2-300 mm, and a maximum table load of 15-000 kg. It is equipped with a standard 4-000 RPM, 18-5-22 kW spindle and a 40-tool ATC capacity, making it a powerful and reliable solution.
