The MHN-4035 – MHN-4042, from the MHN Series, is a premier 5-Face Milling Machining Center recognized for its high precision and full-range high efficiency cutting performance. Its stability is rooted in a highly rigid structure featuring a more than 1-1 meter high stepped beam that significantly enhances the guideway span for superior Y-axis straightness and rigidity needed during heavy cutting. The Y-axis further utilizes an ultra-load 65 mm guideway, which is shown to enhance rigidity by over 40 percent under higher cutting loads. The machine’s foundation is a thick, extra-wide bed with a full stroke supported design, which increases the table load capacity up to 20-000 kg and greatly enhances anti-vibration characteristics. A robust one-piece casting column structure efficiently links the beam and base, boosting YZ-axis machining rigidity. For precision on large travels, the machine includes an XY-axis precision supporter mechanism to prevent ball screw sag on its 4-100 mm X-axis and 3-500 mm – 4-200 mm Y-axis, thus ensuring high positioning accuracy and prolonging ball screw lifetime. The spindle provides a continuous power of 22 – 26 kW and is standard with a 2-step gear achieving 4-000 RPM, making it an ideal solution for continuous, demanding operations.
