The MHN-5035 – MHN-5042, a model within the MHN Series of Double Column Milling Machines, is designed as a high-precision 5-face machining center offering a full range of high-efficiency cutting performance. It maintains Vision Wide’s tradition of high rigidity through several key structural features. Central to its design is a stepped beam structure exceeding 1-100 mm in height, which effectively enhances the guideway span and provides the necessary rigidity and Y-axis straightness for intense heavy cutting. The Y-axis is further reinforced with a 65 mm ultra-load guideway, boosting cutting load rigidity by over 40 percent and extending the machine’s lifetime.

The base structure features a thick and extra-wide design with a full stroke supported table, which significantly increases the table load capacity to 24-000 kg for the MHN-5035 – MHN-5042-while enhancing anti-vibration capabilities and dynamic movement. The one-piece casting column structure links the beam and base rigidly, boosting YZ-axis machining stability. Precision is maintained through an XY-axis precision supporter mechanism, which prevents ball screw sag on models with large travels, such as this one’s 5-100 mm X-axis and 3-500 mm or 4-200 mm Y-axis (for the two variants). The standard spindle delivers 22-26 kW of power with a 2-step gear at 4-000 RPM, with options available for up to 10-000 RPM.
