The MS-2627 model belongs to the MS Series, a line of portal mill machines known for their rigid structure and high precision in milling operations. A core design element is the combination of a direct-driven X-Y transmission device and a torque enlarger unit on the X-axis, which collectively enhances X-Y moving accuracy while offering combined control over speed and precision. Movement along the X and Y axes is supported by heavy-duty roller ways, ensuring high stiffness and low friction during cutting. The high-stiffness, light-weight table design facilitates high acceleration and deceleration when loading the workpiece. The Y-axis upper roller way is maximized by its position on top of the beam at the widest span, providing strong support. The machine’s Z-axis achieves powerful performance with Twin Hydraulic cylinders plus pressured nitrogen accumulator balancing, offering smooth and accurate feeding, the ability to reach 0-5G acceleration, and a holding position safeguard against power failure. The MS-2627 features an X-axis travel of 2-600 mm, a Y-axis travel of 2-700 mm, a table measuring 2-500 mm by 1-800 mm, and a maximum load capacity of 9-000 kg. It comes standard with a 6-000 RPM, 2-step gear spindle and rapid traverse rates of 24 m-min for X, 20 m-min for Y, and 15 m-min for Z.
