The MSE-2118 model is a robust portal mill machine that incorporates Vision Wide’s features of a rigid structure and high precision for demanding milling tasks. The machine’s performance relies on its advanced motion systems: the X-axis features a direct-driven transmission device paired with a torque enlarger unit, optimizing the combination control of speed and transmission accuracy. All major movements, particularly on the X and Y axes, run on heavy-duty roller ways, which minimize friction while maximizing structural stiffness. The Y-axis upper roller way is positioned on top of the beam with a maximum span design for superior support.

For the Z-axis, a sophisticated design employs Twin Hydraulic cylinders plus a pressured nitrogen accumulator balancing system, which not only provides smooth and accurate feeding but also allows the Z-axis to reach a high 0-5G acceleration and safely hold its position during a power failure. The working capacity includes an X-axis travel of 2-100 mm and a Y-axis travel of approximately 1-800 mm, with the table able to support a maximum load of 8-000 kg. Power is delivered by a standard 18-5 kW – 22 kW spindle which runs at 6-000 RPM with a 2-step gear system, designed for box-way durability. High-speed travel is achieved with an impressive rapid traverse rate of 24 m-min on the XY axes.
