The XMF-42 from the XMF Series is a flagship product in Vision Wide’s line of Extremely Mighty Machining Centers, specifically developed to meet the demands of large-scale structural part machining in sectors such as electric power, wind power, energy, and petrochemical. This moving column machine provides a truly vast machining space, featuring an unprecedented X-axis travel range from 8-200 mm up to 60-200 mm and a Y-axis travel of 4-200 mm. The massive table can handle a load density of 5-000 kg per square meter. It is built for uncompromising performance, offering heavy cutting capacity via a large 680 mm by 680 mm ram and is capable of accepting various high-rated torque spindles, including a standard 4-000 RPM, 2-step gear unit or optional built-in motors up to 12-000 RPM.

The machine ensures high-precise positioning through high-standard geometric accuracy, featuring dual linear scales on the X-axis and a linear scale on the Z-axis, with a rapid traverse rate of 20 m/min on the X and Y axes. It supports fully automatic multi-face machining by seamlessly integrating various optional automatic attachment heads and tool exchange functions. Furthermore, the XMF-42 can be configured as a milling and turning compound multitasking machine with an optional vertical turning table.
