GS-1620

The GS-1620 is a standout model in the Vision Wide GS Series of Gantry CNC Machining Centers, distinguished by its innovative one-piece casting design where the work table and columns are combined into a single, highly stable unit. This box structural design is specifically optimized for efficiency and stability, even in environments with restricted operating space. The machine is configured with a Pyramid-type weight distribution to maximize the rigidity of the spindle, ram, cross beam, and bed arrangement.

Engineered for high-speed performance and accuracy, the GS-1620 boasts a maximal rapid traverse of 24 m-min across all three axes and a cutting feed rate of up to 24-000 mm-min. The large work envelope includes 1-600 mm of X-axis travel and 2-000 mm of Y-axis travel, with a table size of 1-600 mm by 2-000 mm. The motion system features advanced technology, including dual direct-driven servo motors on the X-axis paired with dual linear scales to ensure exceptional positioning accuracy during high-speed movement. The Z-axis is also direct-driven to eliminate indirect-driven errors, improve motion, and reduce power consumption. The standard 15-000 RPM direct-driven spindle ensures high work-piece surface accuracy by minimizing noise, backlash, and vibration, making it perfect for applications like precision mold, aluminum, and automotive component cutting. Standard convenience features include a low table height for easier operation and a chain-type chip conveyor for efficient chip removal.
