The GSA-5032 is a prominent model in the GSA Series, representing a specialized 3-plus-2 axis Gantry Type Machining Center engineered to deliver high-accuracy performance for large and complex workpieces. The machine’s stability and dynamic performance are ensured by its one-piece gantry structural design. Its core capability comes from the IAC-Indexing Attached head, a high-power 2-axis head that enables full 5-axis functionality, making it the ideal choice for composite angle machining.

The IAC head features an impressive 15-000 RPM spindle speed and a powerful over 40 kW spindle driving capacity, with a high tool clamping force of 20 kN. The head offers auto indexing at 1-degree increments for both the B and C rotational axes. The machine provides a substantial working envelope, with an X-axis travel of 5-000 mm and a Y-axis travel of 3-200 mm. Dynamic efficiency is achieved through fast traverse rates of 32 m-min on the XY-axes and a cutting feed rate up to 20-000 mm-min. The system comes standard with a HEIDENHAIN TNC640 controller and includes a comprehensive protection system for the IAC head, featuring spindle and motor temperature monitoring and a thermal compensation system for consistent, highly precise contour finishing and mold cutting.
