The travels are equally impressive, with 159-8 inches of X-axis travel (4,060 mm) and 84-6 inches of Y-axis travel (2,150 mm). The Z-axis travel starts at 31-5 inches (800 mm) but can be optionally extended up to 55-1 inches (1,400 mm) to accommodate tall parts. A hydraulic counterbalance system on the headstock ensures smooth and precise vertical movement.

Power is delivered by a robust geared-head CAT50 spindle, which provides ample torque for demanding cuts and operates at up to 6,000 RPM. The machine is optimized for versatility, offering the LB421YM model with extended Y-axis travel and five-face machining capabilities through automatic headstock clamping and automatic tool changes in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
