The LB433 is a powerful Double Column Fixed Rail Bridge Machine from the LB Series, designed for manufacturers processing exceptionally large and complex workpieces in heavy-duty environments. The machine’s foundation is built for extreme stability, featuring a robust Meehanite cast iron base and a fixed rail, double column structure that ensures superior damping characteristics and rigidity during the heaviest cuts.

Its massive work envelope includes a 157-4 inch x 94-5 inch table that can accommodate a maximum load of 33,000 lbs (15,000 kg). The travel distances are substantial: 159-8 inches in the X-axis, a standard 131-9 inches in the Y-axis, and 31-5 inches in the Z-axis, which can be optionally extended up to 55-1 inches. For maximum versatility on complex parts, the optional LB433-YM configuration extends the Y-axis travel to a full 157-4 inches (4,000 mm) to enable full five-face machining. This is complemented by headstock options including 30-degree, 90-degree, extension, and manual universal heads, which feature automatic clamping and automatic tool changes in both vertical and horizontal orientations.

The spindle offers versatile performance, with a high-torque 5,000 RPM- 40 HP-35 HP geared-head delivering a formidable 1,115 ft-lb of torque for ferrous machining. High-speed options are also available, reaching up to 20,000 RPM with an HSK63 integral motor for non-ferrous and high-temp alloy machining. With 32 tools standard (and options up to 120 tools), and rapid feed rates reaching 708 inches per minute (18 m/min) on all axes, the LB433 is engineered for maximum output and precision.
