The LB525 Double Column Fixed Rail Bridge Machine is engineered for power and high productivity in the most demanding heavy cutting environments. Its core stability comes from its double-column, fixed rail design and a foundation of Meehanite cast iron, allowing it to excel even in the heaviest cuts.

The large 196-8 inch x 94-5 inch table supports massive parts with a maximum load capacity of 39,600 lbs (18,000 kg). Travel capabilities are immense, including 199-2 inches of X-axis travel and 100-4 inches of Y-axis travel in the standard configuration. The optional -YM model extends Y-axis travel to 125-9 inches for comprehensive 5-face machining. For machining tough ferrous alloys, a 5,000 RPM CAT50 gearbox provides up to 1,115 ft-lb of torque. Alternatively, for high-speed non-ferrous operations, the machine can be configured with an integral motor spindle reaching 20,000 RPM. Movement is precisely controlled with a hydraulic counterbalance system on the headstock and fast 787 inches per minute rapid feed rates.

The LB525 maintains high precision with a linear position accuracy of plus-minus 0-0006 inch and supports extreme versatility with optional headstock attachments, including 30-degree, 90-degree, and extension heads.
