The LB633 is a high-performance Double Column Fixed Rail Bridge Machine engineered for power and precision in heavy cutting applications across various materials, including ferrous, non-ferrous, and high-temperature alloys. The machine is built on a rigid Meehanite cast iron base and features a hydraulic counterbalance system on the headstock to ensure stability and accuracy during aggressive machining.

The large work envelope is defined by a massive 236-2 inch x 94-5 inch table capable of supporting a 44,000 lb maximum table load (20,000 kg). Its substantial travel capacities include 238-5 inches of X-axis travel (6,060 mm), and Y-axis travel of up to 157-4 inches (4,000 mm) in the extended YM configuration. The Z-axis travel can be optionally increased up to 55-1 inches (1,400 mm).

The standard geared-head spindle provides immense cutting force, offering up to 1,115 ft-lb of torque at 5,000 RPM for heavy material removal. For versatility, high-speed options up to 20,000 RPM are available, and the spindle options include both CAT50 and HSK63 tapers. The LB633YM variant specifically enhances productivity by offering advanced five-face machining capabilities with automatic tool changes in both vertical and horizontal orientations, making it ideal for complex workpieces. The machine maintains high precision with a linear position accuracy of plus-minus 0-0006 inch (full travel).
