The MG1050 is a precision-engineered Universal Moving Gantry Machine from the MG Series, specializing in the machining of extremely large components while maintaining incredibly tight tolerances. This machine is built for the biggest jobs with its massive working area, boasting a 393-7 inch by 189 inch table and an impressive 393-7 inches of travel in the X-axis and 196-8 inches in the Y-axis. The Z-axis travel is 39-4 inches standard and is optionally expandable up to 55-2 inches.

Performance is guaranteed by design features like precise roller guides for high-speed motion and twin linear scales on the axes for superior positioning accuracy, with a full travel linear position accuracy of plus-minus 0-000984 inch. For heavy material removal, particularly with ferrous metals, the machine is equipped with a robust CAT50 geared spindle that provides up to 1,115 ft-lb of torque at 5,000 RPM. Alternatively, high-speed options allow for up to 20,000 RPM with an HSK63 integral motor for non-ferrous applications. The MG1050 also features an ergonomic design for easy operability and offers the option of additional heads to enable full five-face machining capabilities.
