The VB320 is a powerful Double Column Bridge Vertical Machining Center designed to meet the demands of heavy jobs requiring both accuracy and high productivity. As part of the VB Series, it delivers exceptional performance in processing large workpieces, suitable for materials including ferrous metals, non-ferrous alloys, and high-temperature materials like titanium and stainless steel.

The machine features a massive 122-inch x 70-8-inch table capable of supporting a maximum table load of 26,400 lbs (12,000 kg). Its substantial work envelope includes 118-8 inches of X-axis travel (3,020 mm) and 78-7 inches of Y-axis travel (2,000 mm). The Z-axis offers 31-5 inches of travel (800 mm).

Core to the VB320’s strength is its rigidity, achieved through its double column design and integration of roller guides on its axes. The headstock utilizes a hydraulic counterbalance system to ensure highly precise cuts and smooth, rapid movement without sacrificing speed. The CAT50 spindle is robust, delivering up to 35 HP-30 HP (26 kW-22 kW) and a formidable 461 ft-lb of torque, with a speed of 6,000 RPM via a gearbox. The machine’s speed is evident in its rapid feed rates, reaching 945 inches per minute (24 m/min) on the X, Y, and Z axes. With a standard 32-tool storage capacity (60 optional), the VB320 ensures minimal downtime and superior productivity. It also guarantees high-quality finishes with a linear position accuracy of plus-minus 0-0004 inches (0-01 mm) full travel and a linear repeatability of plus-minus 0-0001 inches (0-003 mm).
