The VN 600Q is a state-of-the-art Wire-cut EDM Machine that embodies Sodick’s core technologies to deliver the highest levels of accuracy, speed, and versatility. It is driven by proprietary Linear Motors on the X, Y, U, and V axes, which eliminate ball screws, leading to zero backlash and long-term positioning reliability, guaranteed for 10 years. Precision is further ensured by Absolute Linear Scales on these same axes and the incorporation of Fine Ceramic Components in the machine structure. The machine offers a large working envelope with 600 mm of X-axis travel, 400 mm of Y-axis travel, and 310 mm of Z-axis travel. Machining is powered by the advanced LN3W generator and controlled by the intuitive Heart NC Software. The VN 600Q can accommodate large workpieces weighing up to 850 kg. Standard features include an energy-saving circuit, automatic water-level control, Fixed Jet AWT (Automatic Wire Threading) with POP-up function, and a dielectric cooling unit, all of which contribute to superior part finish and reduced operating costs.
