This grinder is constructed with a reinforced column of Meehanite cast iron, providing the stability required for heavy-duty grinding. It features a V3 graded 10 HP spindle motor with a speed of 1750 RPM. The spindle utilizes four Class 7 high-precision angular contact ball bearings, which are sealed and greased for life to ensure lasting accuracy.

The guideways are designed for superior performance and longevity: the table rests on one V and one flat slideway coated with Turcite-B, and the crossfeed uses Double-V ways also laminated with Turcite-B. An essential recirculating automatic lubrication system is installed to keep all moving parts properly lubricated. For reliable power and thermal stability, the machine includes an enlarged hydraulic tank with a dual pump design for accurate downfeed and smooth table movement. A separated cooling system is used to maintain constant hydraulic temperature, preventing it from rising more than 20 degrees over room temperature. Operational features include a mechanical downfeed for easy maintenance and front-setting crossfeed dials, allowing the user to set the workpiece distance conveniently from the control panel.
