This machine is engineered for fine-grinding both sides of a workpiece simultaneously, which significantly boosts production rates. It is controlled by the iSurfaceDS system, accessed through a user-friendly 10.4-inch touch-screen monitor with intuitive operations. The FDG-700 ensures precision through a high-precision digitally controlled pneumatic system that automatically adjusts to the set pressure, and an integrated high-precision contact measuring system for grinding height control and dressing monitoring. It is also equipped with an over-stroke protection feature.

The grinder is easily set up and maintained, resulting in labor cost savings, and is compliant with freely programmable process parameters for diverse machining conditions, including grinding mode, coolant system control, and upper disk control. It can handle a maximum workpiece diameter of 8.1 inches (205 mm) and a maximum grinding thickness of 1.0 inch (25 mm). Power is supplied by independent 7.5 HP motors for both the upper and lower grinding wheels.
