Flint Machine Tools

FSG-C1224CNCII

This grinder is engineered for robust performance and high accuracy. It features four fully automatic grinding cycles: rapid approach, rough grinding, fine grinding, and wheel dressing with automatic compensation.

The machine’s three axes are all driven by AC servo motors, making it highly suitable for demanding applications like creep-feed grinding. The precision of the machine is secured by its guideway design: the X-axis (Longitudinal) features double V guideways coated with Turcite-B, the Y-axis (Cross Transverse) uses hardened and ground box guideways, and the Z-axis (Vertical) employs THK linear guideways. Further ensuring high accuracy, the spindle is supported by six ABEC Class 7 (P4) super-precision angular contact ball bearings.

With a grinding capacity of 24 inches (610 mm) in length and 12 inches (305 mm) in width, the FSG-C1224CNCII is capable of handling a maximum table load of 920 pounds (420 kg). The spindle is powered by a standard 30 HP AC servo motor, with an optional upgrade to 50 HP for extra demanding tasks.
