Built with a wide, deep base and a honeycomb ribbed column, the machine’s structure utilizes high-quality, ribbed, cast iron for the table, saddle, and base, ensuring exceptional stability for heavy-duty grinding operations.
The machine features ASDIII digital control capabilities, providing operators with a simple and clear digital display and touch control panel for easy learning and operation. The controls allow precise setting of key parameters, including vertical zero point, rough grinding volume, finish grinding volume, target point, and the grinding wheel rise-up point.
Vertical feed is powered by dual motors, including an AC motor for rapid up-down movement and a stepping motor for micro downfeed positioning, slow auto downfeed, and slow up-down. Cross transverse travel is managed by a DC servo motor, enabling both step feed and continuous infeed grinding, with adjustable wheel dressing speed via the control panel. The powerful 10 HP spindle motor operates at 1750 RPM.
To minimize wear on components and maintain precision, all slideways and screws are fully oiled by an automatic continuous lubrication system. The saddle rides on precision, hand-scraped double V ways, and the table on hand-scraped ways, ensuring highly accurate and durable performance. The machine provides a maximum distance of 283 inches from the spindle to the table.
