Grinding power is provided by a reliable 15 HP spindle motor. The machine features the advanced ASDIII digital control system accessible via a simple digital display and touch control panel. This allows the operator to easily program critical grinding parameters, including vertical zero point grinding volume, target point, and grinding wheel rise-up point.

Vertical feed is achieved through dual motor technology, an AC motor provides rapid up and down movement, while a stepping motor enables micro downfeed positioning and slow automatic downfeed in extremely fine increments. Cross transverse travel is accurately controlled by a DC servo motor, allowing for both step feed and continuous infeed grinding.
