This machine is built for stability and rigidity, featuring high-grade cast iron construction with heavy walls and reinforced honeycomb ribbing to ensure excellent dampening and durable, heavy-duty operation. Control is managed by a Delta PLC with a 72-inch color touch screen, which uses a conversational program language for easy setup and includes Programmable Up-Down Head Positioning.

Power is supplied by a 3 HP spindle drive motor running at 3450 RPM, which supports a large-diameter spindle assembly utilizing four preloaded precision angular contact ball bearings and one NU type roller bearing for highly accurate grinding. The movements are automated via hydraulic-driven longitudinal table movement and DC motorized servo crossfeed with ballscrew.

Precision and wear resistance are ensured by the table riding on precision hand-scraped V and Flat ways coated with Turcite B, supported by an Auto Lubrication System. The grinder offers a maximum height of 1968 inches from the table surface to the spindle centerline and a precise Vertical Automatic Infeed range from 00005 to 0025 inches. Standard features include a Micro Down Feed system, a Chuck Controller with De-Mag, and a Built-in Proximity Switch. The machine operates on 230 or 460 volts, 3-phase power.
