The grinder features a Delta PLC with a 72-inch color touch screen, which uses a conversational program language for easy setup and programming of grinding cycles, including Programmable Up-Down Head Positioning. The machine is constructed of high-grade cast iron with heavy walls and reinforced ribbing for excellent rigidity and dampening.

It operates with hydraulic-driven longitudinal table movement and DC motorized servo crossfeed with ballscrew. The large-diameter spindle is driven by a 2 HP motor at a speed of 3450 RPM, and is supported by four preloaded precision angular contact ball bearings and one NN type roller bearing for durable heavy-duty performance. Precision is maintained by the table resting on hand-scraped V and Flat ways coated with Turcite B, alongside an Auto Lubrication System for wear resistance.

The machine has a maximum height of 18 inches from the table surface to the spindle centerline. It offers a precise Vertical Automatic Infeed range from 00005 to 0025 inches. Standard features include a Micro Down Feed system, a Chuck Controller with De-Mag, a Built-in Proximity Switch, and a Splash Guard. It operates on 230 or 460 volts, 3-phase power.
