Constructed from high-grade cast iron with heavy walls and reinforced ribs, the machine ensures excellent rigidity and dampening. The spindle is a high-precision cartridge-type supported by preloaded angular contact ball bearings and an NN-type roller bearing, driven by a 2 HP V3-class motor at 3450 RPM for highly accurate grinding.

The grinder’s table rests on precision hand-scraped V and Flat ways coated with Turcite-B, while the saddle uses hand-scraped double V-ways. This, along with an Auto Lubrication System, ensures excellent wear resistance and smooth movement. The maximum height from the table surface to the spindle centerline is 18 inches.

Key features include an infinitely variable hydraulic table speed ranging from 196 to 984 inches per minute, and motorized cross feed with an auto traverse increment from 0.04 to 0.4 inches. The vertical axis is positioned manually using an ergonomically placed handwheel. Standard equipment includes a Cross Feed Ballscrew, Table Mounted Diamond Dresser with diamond, Grinding Wheel, Wheel Flange, Balancing Stand with Arbor, Leveling Screws with Blocks, and a Splash Guard. The machine is wired for 230 or 460 volts, 3-phase.
