It offers a generous work envelope with 40″ in X-axis, 20″ in Y-axis, and 20″ in Z-axis travel. The machine’s stability is ensured by its FC300 Meehanite casting and an optimized ribbed structure developed using FEA analysis.

Performance is driven by a standard 15,000 rpm Built-in Spindle (upgradable to 20,000 rpm), which provides 41 hp and 104 ft-lb of torque for excellent cutting performance. To minimize non-cutting time, the MEGA 40V boasts rapid feed rates of 2,047 ipm on the X and Y axes, complemented by a High Speed Automatic Tool Changer that achieves a tool-to-tool change time of only 1.2 seconds. It comes standard with a 40-tool magazine capacity.

A key feature for quality control is the DYPEC Dynamic Predictive Error Compensation system, which corrects position errors caused by thermal changes to ensure 0.1 μm resolution and high sustained accuracy.
