The FH800SX-i is JTEKT TOYODA’s high-performance answer in the 800 mm pallet class, delivering industry-leading high-precision performance optimized for speed, rigidity, and reliability. This Horizontal Machining Center is constructed with a heavy Meehanite cast iron base, ensuring improved rigidity and dampening vibration during heavy cutting, which is crucial for maintaining tight linear position accuracy of .00012” across the full stroke. The machine boasts a generous work envelope, accommodating workpieces with a max swing diameter and height of 59.06” and handling a maximum load of 5,500 lb on its 31.5” x 31.5” pallet.

Its speed and power are driven by flexible spindle options, including a high-torque 8,000 RPM spindle or a high-speed 15,000 RPM option, both delivering 887 ft-lb of torque via a CAT50 taper. The impressive axis dynamics are achieved through dual ballscrew drives on both the Y and Z axes, enabling rapid feed rates of 2,127 ipm (54 m/min) in all three axes (X, Y, and Z). With X-axis travel of 57.1” and a substantial Z-axis travel of 61”, the FH800SX-i is capable of machining large, complex prismatic components. Further enhancing its automation capability, the machine offers a scalable tool storage capacity with options up to 330 tools, supporting extended periods of unmanned operation and high-volume production.
