Its modular design allows for flexible configurations to efficiently handle a wide variety of parts, including components made from chuck, shaft, and bar stock with a maximum bar capacity of 65 mm (and bar sizes up to 95 mm depending on specific setup). The machine is built around an extremely solid machine bed and features prestressed roller guides in all axes, ensuring high stability and enduring precision.
Key performance features include a powerful 22 kW main spindle with a max speed of 5000 rpm and a max turning diameter of 500 mm. For complex work, the E65 can be optionally equipped with a counter spindle (up to 5000 rpm and 16.5 kW)- driven tools- and a C-axis on the main spindle- enabling turn-mill operations and completing parts in a single setup. The machine utilizes a 12-position tool turret (VDI 30 or VDI 40) with all positions capable of driven tools. For maximizing automation and efficiency, the E65 also features an automatic tailstock, an optional short-bar loader, and a part pick-up device.
