Flint Machine Tools

MAXXTURN 65-1000

The MAXXTURN 65-1000 belongs to the advanced MAXXTURN series, providing the perfect solution for manufacturers seeking economic, off-the-shelf, complete machining capabilities. This model is configured to efficiently produce complex turned and milled parts with high precision and at a competitive price point. The machine’s design prioritizes stability and versatility, featuring a main spindle and a counter spindle with up to 29 kW of drive power and max speeds up to 5000 rpm.

A key highlight is the very stable Y-axis with a travel of $\pm 50$ mm, which is directly implemented into the machine’s construction for enhanced rigidity and precision during off-center work. Tooling is handled by a 12-fold tool turret (VDI 30 or VDI 40 / BMT55P) that includes driven tools with a max speed of 12,000 rpm and 10 kW of power, enabling powerful milling and drilling operations. The 1050 mm spindle distance between the main and counter spindle makes the “-1000” variant ideal for long shaft work or transferring parts between spindles for complete rear-side machining. With high rapid motion speeds in X and Z axes (30 m/min) and state-of-the-art control technology from Siemens Sinumerik 840D sl or Fanuc 31i B, the MAXXTURN 65-1000 offers high thermal stability and a very compact machine layout.
