The MAXXTURN 65 G2 is a highly versatile and comprehensively equipped machine from EMCO’s MAXXTURN series, designed to produce complex turned and milled parts with outstanding efficiency, precision, and cost-effectiveness. This turning center excels at complete machining by integrating key components for single-setup production. It comes standard with both a main spindle (max. 5000 rpm, max. 29 kW) and a counter spindle (max. 7000 rpm, max. 22 kW, 840 mm distance)- allowing for full part transfer and back-side machining.
A key highlight is the very stable Y-axis with long travel, which is directly implemented in the machine construction to enhance rigidity and precision. Machining versatility is provided by a 12- or 16-position tool turret (VDI 30 or 40), which includes driven tools (max. 12000 rpm) for powerful milling and drilling operations. The machine features a radial turret with single-motor engineering and a high-precision C-axis. With a maximum turning diameter of 500 mm and bar capacity of 65 mm (up to 95 mm optionally), it handles a wide range of parts. The very compact machine layout combined with high rapid motion speeds (30 m-min in X- and Z-axes) and high thermostability ensures reliable, high-volume production. Control technology options include the state-of-the-art Siemens Sinumerik One or Fanuc 31i B for simple, dialog-supported programming.
