The FAT HACO FCT 700 and FCT 700 HV models are Slant Bed CNC Lathes engineered for the most demanding heavy-duty turning applications. The machine’s foundation is a heavy-duty 70-degree inclined cast bed supported by four guideways, ensuring exceptional rigidity and optimal chip evacuation during intense machining. The FCT series handles large components with a standard 700 mm swing over the bed, expandable to 840 mm on the FCT HV optional version, and offers extensive lengths between centers ranging from 1100 mm up to a maximum of 5100 mm. It can safely support a maximum weight of 2500 kg between centers without steady rests.
Power is delivered by a 25 kW main drive motor, with the main spindle featuring three execution options for the spindle bore: 105 mm, 140 mm, or 220 mm. The machine delivers up to 3400 Nm of max turning torque when equipped with the 2-range gearbox. For enhanced multi-tasking, the FCT series includes a fast-moving saddle with 20 m-min rapid travel in both the X and Z axes, and can be outfitted with a 12-position tool turret for static or rotating tools (VDI 50). A sub-spindle option is also available with a 90 mm bore, making the FCT 700 a highly versatile, single-setup solution for heavy, complex components.
