The LS-800 L20 is a long-bed model in the JTEKT Takisawa LS Series of Large, Superduty Boxway Lathes, specifically engineered to achieve maximum production and flexibility for high-torque, high-speed turning and milling applications. Its robust construction and precision-engineered features are designed to handle large, challenging workpieces while maintaining an exceptional value. Key capacity statistics include a max workpiece swing of 32.6 inches (830 mm), a maximum turning diameter of 29.9 inches (760 mm), and an extended max turning length of 82.7 inches (2,100 mm).

The machine’s performance is driven by a powerful spindle that achieves speeds up to 2,000 RPM and provides 35 HP (26 kW) for 30 minutes, supported by a 15-inch chuck size and a fine-ground precision gearbox for high cutting torque and an accurate surface finish.
