The A3018SDCI is an essential productivity upgrade for any Vertical Machining Center, allowing manufacturers to virtually eliminate machine downtime associated with part loading and unloading. This automatic pallet changer system is engineered for reliable, heavy-duty use, featuring two 30 inch by 17 inch (762 mm by 431-8 mm) cast iron pallets that provide superior rigidity and a stable platform for heavy workpieces.

The system includes a Series 30 End Load Shuttle unit and a pneumatic receiver with a 1-000 lb (454 kg) capacity (weight evenly distributed), which can be optionally upgraded to a 2-000 lb capacity for heavier applications. The receiver is equipped with an air blast feature to ensure a clean, precise seating of the pallet every time. By allowing operators to perform job setup- inspection- and cleaning operations safely outside the machine’s work area, the A3018SDCI keeps the spindle running and dramatically improves overall equipment efficiency- or OEE.
