The DUAL Automatic Pallet Changer by MIDACO is a custom-engineered automation solution tailored for the HAAS DT-2 vertical machining center. Its primary function is to eliminate downtime caused by manual part setup by allowing operators to load and unload workpieces on the external pallets while the machine spindle remains continuously engaged in cutting. This dramatically increases spindle utilization and overall production output.

The core of the system is the Series 16A pneumatic receiver, built for robust performance with a load capacity of 500 lbs (227 kg) when weight is evenly distributed. The changer includes four durable 28 inch by 15 inch by $1.25$ inch (711 mm by 381 mm by 32 mm) cast aluminum pallets and two Series 16 End Load Shuttle units, each equipped with an Automatic Door and a clear indicator lamp for safe operation. The pallet change sequence is fast and automated, moving the completed job out and the new job in with speed and precision. The DUAL Pallet Changer is also designed to be Robot-Cobot Ready with available mounting options, making it future-proof for advanced automation integration in any production environment.
