The AS5025SD Pallet Changer with Aluminum Pallets from Midaco is a crucial automation component engineered to convert downtime into production time on vertical machining centers. This Automatic “Stretch” Pallet Changer system allows operators to set up a new job while the machine is actively cutting, thereby achieving near-continuous spindle operation.

The core of the system includes the Series 36A Pneumatic Receiver, which features a built-in air blast to ensure chips are cleared for precise pallet seating, and the Series S50 End Load Shuttle unit. The shuttle facilitates pallet exchange from the end of the machining center and is equipped with an Automatic Door and indicator lamp for safety and efficiency.

The system comes standard with two cast aluminum pallets, each measuring 50 inches by 24 inches ($1-270 mm$ x $609.6 mm$), offering a large work area.
