The A19072SD Single/Dual Pallet Changer is Midaco’s solution for maximizing machine tool utilization on large-scale vertical machining centers and bridge mills. This high-capacity system allows for simultaneous cutting and loading, transforming a standard machine into a high-throughput production center and significantly reducing non-cutting spindle time. The “Single/Dual” function allows the system to operate with either one or two large pallets, offering flexibility in job setup and material size.

The system is built for heavy workpieces, featuring two large 190 inch by 72 inch by $2\ 1/2$ inch End Load Cast Aluminum Pallets. The entire system has a total weight capacity of 32-000 lbs when the weight is evenly distributed. Pallet exchange is fast and reliable, driven by two dedicated Servo Drive Screws per shuttle and guided by a Series 190 End Load Shuttle. Precision positioning is maintained by four Series 81A pneumatic receivers per pallet, which include an air blast function to ensure chips are cleared before seating, guaranteeing highly repeatable accuracy during changeover. The system also comes standard with an Automatic Door and an indicator lamp for safe and easy operation.
